really enjoyed it here . it’s really quiet as it’s just out of the centre of town but close . The rooms are separate from the reception / restaurant so it’s really quiet . the rooms are quite nice , much better tuwb I expected after reading some reviews, easily nicer than hotels I’ve stayed in recently that cost more . bathroom is spacious . everything is always really well cleaned . the staff are awesome and always have a smile . stayed 2 weeks all together as I had to extend my stay. . these are the most comfy beds and pillows out of all recent hotels I’ve stayed at . I wish I could take them with me . nice warm heater in the room . if I’d paid double for what I was paying per night it would still be good value . hope to return soon

After checking in, I found a few small issues and was able to speak to the manager personally straight away who was respectful and arranged any changes she had said she would. It was a plus to find this hotel employs staff who are not barely out of their teens or trained to be “corporate”. Thus, they have the confidence to deal with issues using their own initiative and provide credible answers! I really appreciated a reasonably sized bathroom with flexible shower hose. And lots of lighting and mirrors. Other hotels can be stingy with both! There was always ample parking right outside the accommodation.

This is a budget hotel, but we have stayed here a few times now when looking after grandchildren. It is located in an area of warehousing etc but you wouldn't know it. It is clean, quiet and with better beds than some more expensive hotels. You have your own entrance door to the outside with a grassed area (if on the ground floor). My husband had breakfast and and said it was hot and surprisingly good. They offer some basic meal choices in the evening and we have experienced far worse. The staff are also very pleasant and friendly.

Everything was fine for a budget room and was akin to an American-style motel (very reminiscent of a Motel 6). The decor was a bit dated and in need of a bit of attention but you get what you pay for. I was really very impressed that in a 2 night stay, the room was cleaned and refreshed, coffee and tea replenished and towels changed on the second day ; I've never had that in a Travelodge or Premier Inn so kudos there. I thought that sort of thing had died out. Area nice and quiet and lovely views if you like industrial estates.

The hotel was clean and had tea and coffee making facilities. The staff are pleasant. Restaurant only open Monday to Friday not a large menu but food okay. Everything has to be paid for with credit or debit card even drinks or buying a bar of chocolate! Bus stop for city centre quite close by but buses can be unreliable we waited for well over an hour as one bus didn't turn up. Bus fare £2 per person per journey, so a taxi for a couple or more people is a better choice.
